Hans Christian Andersen was a Danish writer who Disney ripped off.

In 1837, he wrote the semi-autobiographical The Little Mermaid, and in 1989, Disney made a movie of it, but changed some details.

In 1844, he wrote The Snow Queen. In 2013, Disney made the movie Frozen. It has almost nothing to do with The Snow Queen.
