The third incarnation of Woodpartment Industries is a Pikelandic-American media conglomerate.

History[edit | edit source]

Woodpartment's first incarnation was founded in 1975, then spun off into its own company in 1976. The first string of acquisitions appeared in late 1977 with the acquisition of Krakow television station WBNK-TV. In 1980, the BFDI TV network was planned and tested in Rockefeller Park, Krakow. While it took 10 years, Woodpartment went into a string of other acquisitions. On January 1, 1990, the BFDI TV network officially launched as a duopoly with Woodpartment itself and Warner Communications (now WarnerMedia). On December 25, 1993, Woodpartment acquired Pillowsoft for $25,000.000. When all of the BFDI TV affiliates changed brandings in 1997, Woodpartment exited the radio business, albeit temporarily. In late 1998, Woodpartment acquired Yoyle, making Woodpartment the new Yoyle. On December 31, 2005, Woodpartment's second incarnation was founded. The other half of the previous Woodpartment became an independent company called "Yoyle Holdings", which owned Yoyle. On August 13, 2019, Yoyle Holdings and JnJ Corp. is set to merge into Woodpartment/Yoyle by the end of 2019. On December 4, 2019, Woodpartment/Yoyle became official, while the third incarnation of Woodpartment still existed.
